Keypads

The
keypad is necessary for programming the system and giving you "in home"
control. It is typically placed near the door most commonly used for
entry/exit. Residential customers usually prefer to have one near or
in the master bedroom, especially in two story homes. This allows you
to arm/disarm the system from your bedroom, and also to see what point
of protection is violated, if an intrusion occurs, without roaming
through the house to find a keypad.Keypad
All of the arming
options and disarming function are on the keypad. It also provides the
ability to summon police or fire assistance immediately in "panic"
situations. It also provides constant updated status of the security
system. Some keypads come with voice capabilities to allow you to hear
the status of your system.
